Wrong omission of am, is, are, etc. before adjectives
Wrong: I happy to write you this letter. Correct: I am happy to write you this letter.
Wrong: She afraid to report the matter to you.
Correct: She is afraid to report the matter to you.
This is a very elementary error
Wrong use of adverbs after tasteWrong: This cake tastes very sweetly Correct: This cake tastes very sweet.
Wrong choice of object type
The errors here lie in confusing one type of object with another. Wrong use of that clause like
Wrong: Mr. Ya'qub doesn't like that you visit him at home.
Correct: Mr. Ya'qub doesn't like you to visit him at home [or you visiting him at home; or your visiting him at home].
The verb 'like' can also be used with nouns and with infinitives: I don't like swimming. I don't like to swim in a crowded pool.

Wrong:Shuai'b wants that I lend him my radio-cassette.
Correct:Shuai'b wants me to lend him my radio- cassette.
Wrong:Tola wanted that he should buy her a gold necklace.
Correct:Tola wanted him to buy her a gold necklace.
