PRAISING AND GLORIFYING ALLAAH

Another easy way of getting reward which the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) has informed us in many of his ahadith is by saying some of the following statements: Subhan Allaah, Alhamdulillah, la ilaha iIIallah and Allaahu Akbar. Let us see some of how and when we should say them. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) taught us to say, La ilaha iIIaha illaAllaahu wahdahu lashareeka lahu, lahul mulku wa lahul hamdu wa Huwa ala kulli shain Qadeer.

The Meaning: There is no God but Allaah alone, He has no partner, His is praise, and He is capable of all things.

The Reward: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said whoever says this ten times will have the reward for freeing four slaves from the children of Ismail. (Bukhari)

One thousand Rewards: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) also encouraged us to say; Subhan AIlaah

The Meaning: Glorified is Allaah.

The Reward: A thousand good deeds will be writing in his account or a thousand sins will be wiped away. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked his companions "Is anyone of you capable of earning one thousand Hasanah (rewards) in a day?" The people asked him, "How can anyone of us earn one thousand hasanah in a day? He said, "Glorify Allah a hundred times and a thousand hasanah will be written for you or a thousand sins will be wiped away" (Muslim)

A Date Palm Tree in Paradise: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) also encouraged us to say this: Subhan Allaahil Azeem wa bi hamdihi. The Meaning "Glorified is Allaah the Most Great and praise is He".

The Reward: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Whoever says this will have a date palm planted for him in Paradise. (AI-Hakim) Heavy on the Scale. He encouraged us to say these; Subhan Allaah wa bi hamdihi, Subhan Allaahil Azeem

The Meaning: .. Glorified is Allaah and praised is He, Glorified is Allaah the Most Great The Reward. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Two words that come lightly off the tongue, weigh heavily on the balance(scale) and cherished by the Most Merciful One... " (Bukhari)
