The vulture's nature is adapted to feeding on soft flesh of dead animals. There exists a specie of this bird found mostly in Africa, Asia and Europe that prefers the hard bones. To be able to eat tile bones, it has evolved its own mechanism. It brings the bone to its workshop, which is a base patch of rock near the top of a cliff. From there, it launches into the air, soaring higher and higher. When high enough, it drops the bone on tile rock which breaks into splinters. The vulture lands and swallows the splinters of the bone.
From where does this bald-headed bird source its knowledge? How is it able to digest such hard material as a bone?
"There is no moving creature on tile earth but its sustenance depends on Allah: He knows the time and place of its temporary deposit: all in a clear record" (Q11: 6)
