Shaytans Manipulation of the christians

Praise be to Allaah, the Lord of the worlds. May the peace and blessings of Allaah be upon Muhammad, His last Messenger, his household, his companions and all those who follow him till the Last Day,

Manipulated, Misled & Lost

Imaam Ibn Qayyim al-Jawziyyah (RAH) in his "Ighatul-Lahfaan min Masaaid al-Shaytan" noted appropriately thus: "It is obvious to anyone with reason that Shaytan has greatly manipulated these misled people (Christians).

He called them and they responded to him; he befooled them and they obeyed him. He manipulated them with regards to Allaah, the Exalted and Most High. He manipulated them with regards to Eesa(Jesus - alayhis salaam). He manipulated them with regards to the cross and the worship of it. The typical example of what these polytheists are doing is like that of a servant of a king who entered upon a man, so the man jumped from his place, prostrated to the servant, worshipped him, and did to him what he was not supposed to do except to the king.

Every rational person would consider him an ignorant and a fool because of what he did, since he did to the kings servant what he was supposed to do only to the king, in terms of honouring, humbleness and humility. It is well-known that what the servant did here is more likely to cause the king to hate him and look down upon him than to honor him and exalt his status. This is the situation of one who prostrates to creation, or a picture of creation.

This is because he resorted prostration which is the greatest reaching the Lords pleasure. This is why Allaah the Most High said, "Verily, shirk (polytheism, setting up partners with Allaah) is a great injustice." (Q31[Luqman]: 33).... The polytheist is in reality setting Shaytan, not Allaah's prophets and righteous servants. as a partner with Allaah. For the prophets and righteous servants have nothing to do with those who set them as partners with Allaah; they are against them and the strongest in hatred of all people towards them ... " Lost, Yet Busy Losing Others With what the guided imam has stated, what do you then say about their leaders [popes, archbishops, pastors [including the husband and wife ones], the reverends, deacons etc] who definitely mislead their congregation and contemporaries? They are tawaagheet [false gods] who promote the worst sin ever and they declare what is lawful as unlawful and what is unlawful as lawful; while people follow them.

Muslims should recognise the Xtian call for what it truly is: an enormous crime of disbelief that attributes a son and a co-equal to Allaah the Most High. Subhanaallah! Allaah says, "And they say, The Most Merciful has taken a son.You have done an atrocious thing. The heavens almost rupture there from and the earth splits open and the mountains collapse in devastation. That they attribute to the Most Merciful a son. And it is not appropriate for the Most Merciful that He should take a son. There is no one in the heavens and earth but that he comes to the Most Merciful as a servant" (Q19[Maryam]: 88-93)

So, let neither their pomp and ceremony nor their multitude sway you; for their deeds are futile, while they think otherwise. Allaah says: "Those who disbelieved, their deeds are like a mirage on a plain, in which a thirsty person thinks there is water; when he approaches it he finds nothing but he finds Allaah before him and He repays him his account in full, as Allah is swift in taking account." (Q24[al-Nuur]: 39)

Worthless Hard Labour

The worthlessness of their hard labour is further explained in the following passage from Soorah al-Ghashiyah [Q88:2-4]: "Some faces, that Day will be humiliated (in the Hell-fire, i.e the faces of alI disbelievers, Jews and Christians).

Labouring (hard in the worldly life by worshipping others besides Allaah), weary (in the Hereafter with humility and disgrace). They will enter in the hot blazing Fire. "Ibn Abbas said, "They will be humble but this action will be of no benefit to them"; meaning, they did many deeds and became weary in their performance, yet they will be cast into a blazing Fire on the Day of Judgement. AI-Hafiz Abu Bakr AI-Burqani narrated from AbuImran AI-Jawni that he said, Umar bin AI-Khattab (RA) passed by the monastery of a monk and he said: O monk! Then the monk came out, and Urnar looked at him and began to weep.

Then it was said to him: O Commander of the faithful! Why are you weepingHe replied: I remembered the statement of Allaah, the Mighty and Majestic, in His Book, (Laboring, weary. They will enter into Fire, Hamiyah.) So that is what has made me cry. " And Ibn Abbas (RA) said, (Labouring, weary) means "The Christians". (Bukhari). AndIkrimah and As-Suddi (RAH) both said, "Labouring in the worldly life with disobedience, and weariness in the Fire from torment and perdition"
