Steadfastness & Success!

Success is a desire of every mortal but it does not come without being steadfast for Muslims perseverance and constancy are part of the requirements of his faith. Often, we face herculean opposition in the practice of our faith and our weaknesses make us so inadequate. Even when you are against the multitude, Allah is your goal, do not fear, for He is near. Call on Him thus

“Rabbi inna qawmi kadhahuuni, faftah bayni wa buynahun faftahan, wa naijini wu man ma’iya min al-Mu'minin"

(O my Lord! Truly my people have rejected me. Judge You between me and-them openly, and deliver me and those of the believers who are with me) (Q26:117-118)

When you sincerely and earnestly calI on Allah then

“... do you be patient. for your patience is from Allah; nor grieve over them: And distress not yourself because of their plots. For Allah is with those who restrain themselves and those who do good".

Still, if your heart begins to shake and your faith is threatened; especially as enemies of Allah seem to be enjoying the upperhand; do not despair; it is only for a short while.

However, continue to pray:

"Allahuma anta muqallibal qulub, thabit quluubuna ala dinik, wa thabit aqdaamana ala tahaatik".

(O Allah, You are the Changer of heart, make our hearts firm in your religion and strengthen our feet in obedience to you) .

Also, seek constancy;

"Rabbana afrigh alayna sabraan wa thabbit aqdaamana wa ansurna alal qawmil-kajifln"

(Our Lord! pour out constancy (sabr) on us, and Make our steps firm: Help us against those that reject  faith(Q2:250)

Then you will find your heart set firm upon Islam, you are on the path of success; so perfect your steps with more prayers:

“Allahuma a’innii alazikrika wa shukrika wa husnii ibaadatika”

 (O Allah! help me to remember You, to thank You, and to worship You in the best of manners) "

“Rabbana la tuziqh qulubana bad a idh hadaytana wa hablana nein ladun ka rahmatan. Innaka ant-al-wahhab”

(Our Lord! Let not our hearts deviate now after You have guided us, but grant us mercy from Your own presence, for You are the Grantor of bounties without measure) (Q3:8) (Amin)
