The cure for satanic thoughts

As-Salam alaykum: please, sometimes, dangerous notion and ideas come into my mind and I fear that they may remove me from the pale of my religion: what can I do about them? Alhamdullilah. These notions and thoughts are from the Shaytaan, who whispers into the hearts of mankind in order to cause confusion to the Muslim: So when you _feel any such thing, seek refuge with Allaah and stop thinking about matters of the unseen, matters of Allaahs attributes and creation, so that your conviction is not weakened.

As for the thoughts that encourage you to commit sinful acts, then seek refuge with Allaah and seek the company of the righteous who will help you perform good acts. -Editor. A question about masturbation ,As-Salam alaykum I over heard a mallam preaching and then someone asked about masturbation .He said it's not a sin if you masturbate and he gave as evidence suratul Ma'arij [70]:29,30] I am confused ,please explain this to me.

RESPONSE: Alhamdulillah. May Allaah save us from the fi(nah of the ignorant people posing as people of knowledge. Narrated Abdullah bin Amr (RA): "I heard the Prophet (peace and blessing be upon him) saying: "Allaah will not deprive you of knowledge after he has given it to you, but it will be taken away through the death of the religious learned met with their knowledge.

Then there will remain ignorant people who, when consulted will give. verdicts according to their opinions whereby they will mislead others and go astray.."(Bukhari) Though there is no specific prohibition from the statement of the Prophet (peace and blessing be upon him), majority of the righteous and learned scholars hold that masturbation is haraam, because it involves going beyond the legitimate bounds in that which AlIaah has made permissible (which IS legal sexual intercourse). Unfortunately, it is the same verse that this Mallaam had used to arrive at this false conclusion that these scholars have used to support their true statement.

Allaah says: "And those who guard their chastity (I.e. private parts from illegal sexual acts). Except with their wives and the (women slaves and captives) whom their right hands possess, for (then) they are not to be blamed. But whosoever seeks beyond that, then it is those who are trespassers." (Maarij [70]: 29- 31). . So, the statement of Allaah: "But whosoever seeks beyond that, then lt is those who are trespassers." Includes those who engage in this act. And Allaah knows best.
