As We March Out Of Ramadan

As We March Out Of Ramadan….!

Praise be to Allaah, the Lord of the worlds. May the peace and blessings of Allaah be upon Muhammad, His last Messenger, his household, his companions and all those who follow him till the Last Day.

Reality Of Eemaan

As we march out of Ramadan, we should take certain thoughts with us, and we should translate such thoughts into action with each step we take. The first is to check your eeman (faith): has it increased with the worship in Ramadan or are you filled with fulsome praise at the quantum of worship that you achieved in Ramadan?

AI-Fudayl Bin Iyaad (RAH) related to us when and how a Muslim attains the reality of Eemaan. He said:

“A servant does not reach (taste, acquire) the reality of eemaan until he considers tribulation (calamity) to be a blessing and comfort (opulence) to be a calamity, and until he loves not that he should be praised for worship of Allaah”. So, will your eeman withstand the fitnah to Muslims from the deep and condemnable errors of Boko Haram?

Continue To Make Du’aa

From Abu Hurairah from the Messenger (salallaahu alayhi wa sallam): ‘Whoever does not supplicate (make Dua’) to AIlaah. then AIlaah is angry with him.’ (Bukhari in ‘Adab al-Mufrad’). And from an-Nu’maan (RA), the Rasul (salallaahu alayhi wa sallam) said: ‘Dua’ is worship’ then the Messenger (salallaahu alayhi wa sallam) recited:

“And your Lord said: ‘Call on Me, (and ask Me for anything) I will respond to your (invocation). Verily! Those who scorn My worship [i.e. do not involve Me, and do not believe in My Oneness.] they will surely enter Hell in humiliation!” (Q40 [Ghaafir]:60) (Saheeh Abi Dawuud)

There is no doubt that staying away from Allaah’s worship due to arrogance and not making Dua’ to Him necessitates Allaah’s anger upon the one who does not make Dua’ to Him. Some people claim that making Dua’ to Allaah is inappropriate behavior with Allaah, they have become affected with an Israeeli narration: ‘His knowledge of my condition spares me from asking from Him. ‘This is not the case. You are not informing Allaah of your need, certainly He knows; rather it is the actualization of the Uboodiyah of Allaah (servitude of worship), your own impoverishment, and your need of Him.

Keep Up The Good Deeds

On the authority of Abdullaah bin ‘Amroo : that Muadh bin Jabl wanted to travel, so he asked the Messenger of Allaah (salallaahu alayhi wa sallam) to advise him. The Messenger (salallaahu alayhi wa sallam) said:

‘Worship Allaah and do not associate anything with him.’

Muadh said: ‘O Prophet of Allaah! Tell me more. ‘He said to him:

‘If you make a mistake follow it up with a good deed.’

Muadh said: ‘O Prophet of Allaah tell me more.’ The Messenger (salallaahu alayhi wa sallam) said:

‘Be upright and make your manners good.’ (Saheeh)

that advice was good enough for Muadh, it should be just perfect for you as you come out of Ramadan.

May Allaah accept our ibaadah (worship), inspite of its deficiencies and inspite of our personal imperfections.
