CARPETS OF PARADISE
"They (believers) will recline on Carpets whose inner linings will be of rich brocade: the fruit of the Gardens will be near (and easy of reach)." (Q55[Ar-Rahman]:54)
"Therein will be Thrones (of dignity) raised on high. Goblets placed (ready). And cushions set in rows and rich carpets (all) spread out." (Q88[Ghashiya]: 13-16)
BED IN HELL
"To those who reject Our signs and treat them with arrogance no opening will there be of the gates of heaven nor will they enter the Paradise until the camel can pass through the eye of the needle: such is Our reward for those in sin. For them there is hell as a bed (below) and folds and folds of covering above: such is Our recompense for those who do wrong." (Q7[a1-Araf] :40- 41)
