1 Spy Not Upon One Another
"0 you who believe! Avoid much suspicions, indeed some suspicions are sins. And spy not, neither backbite one another. Would one of you like to eat the flesh of his dead brother? You would hate it (so hate backbiting). And fear Allah, Verily, Allah is the One Who accepts repentance, Most Merciful:' (Q49[Hujuraat]: 12)
2 Return Greeting In A Better Form
"When you are greeted with a greeting, greet in return with what is better than it or (at least) return it equally. Certainly, Allah is Ever a Careful Account Taker of all things." (Q4[Nisaa]:86)
3 Say Salaam When You Enter Your House And Others'
"When you enter the houses, greet one another with a greeting from Allah (i.e. say: As-Salamu 'Alaikum - peace be on you) blessed and good." (Q24[Nur}:6I)
4 Do Not Enter Houses Without A Permission
"0 you who believe! Enter not houses other than your own, until you have asked permission and greeted those in them, that is better for you, in order that you may remember." (Q24[Nur] 21)
5 Pardon Gracefully When Someone Offends you
"Those who spend [in Allah's Cause - deeds of charity, alms, etc. in prosperity and in adversity, who repress anger, and who pardon men; verily, Allah loves AI-Muhsinun (the good-doers)." (Q3[Aal-lmran]: 134)
6 Lower Your Gaze
"Tell the believing men to lower their gaze (from looking at forbidden things), and protect their private parts (from illegal sexual acts, etc.). That is purer for them. Verily, Allah is All-Aware of what they do. And tell the believing women to lower their gaze (from looking at forbidden things), and protect their private parts (from illegal sexual acts, etc.) and not to show off their adornment except only that which is apparent." (Q24[Nur]:30-31)
7 Walk with Humility
'And the slaves of the Most Beneficent (Allah) are those who walk on the earth in humility and sedateness. And when the foolish address them (with bad words) they reply back with mild words of gentleness." (Q25 [Furqaan]:63)
