HERE
Astrology is the study of the positions of the moon, sun and other planets in the belief that their motion affects human beings while a soothsayer is someone who is believed to predict future events.
As Muslims it’s not permissible for us to believe in what the astrologer or the soothsayer says. This is because it goes against the basic belief system of Muslims. It is only Allaah that has the knowledge of the unseen. Anybody who claims to possess this knowledge is a disbeliever. Allaah says;
“[He alone is] the All-Knower of the Ghaib [unseen], and He reveals to none His Ghaib [unseen].” Except to a Messenger [from mankind] whom He has chosen [he informs him of unseenas much as He likes], and then He makes a band of watching guards [angels] to march before him and behind him.”[Q 72: 26-27]
A word one hundred lies
Narrated Aisha [R A]: The Prophet [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] said:
“While the angels talk amidst the clouds about things that are going to happen on earth, the devils hear a word of what they say and pour it in the ears of a soothsayer as one pours something in a bottle, and they add one hundred lies to that (one word).” [Bukhari]
The earning of a soothsayer is forbidden
Narrated Abu Masud Al-Ansari: [R A] Allaah’s Messenger [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] forbade taking the price of a dog, money earned by prostitution and the earnings of a soothsayer. [Bukhari]

He has disbelieved!
Narrated Zaid bin Khalid AI Juhani [RAj: The Prophet [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] led us in the Fajr prayer at Hudaibiya after a rainy night. On completion of the prayer, he faced the people and said:
"Do you know what your Lord has said (revealed)?"
The people replied, "Allaah and His Prophet [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] know better." He said:
"Allaah has said, 'In this morning some of my slaves remained as true believers and some became non-believers; whoever said that the rain was due to the Blessings and the Mercy of Allaah had belief in Me and he disbelieves in the stars, and whoever said that it rained because of a particular star had no belief in Me but believes in that star.’”[Bukharij
Narrated Abu Hurayrah [RA]: Allaah's Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:
"He who comes to a menstruating woman, or to a woman from her backside (for sexual intercourse), or to a kahin (soothsayer), he disbelieved that which was revealed to Muhammad." [Tirmidhi].
No salaah for forty nights
The Messenger of Allaah [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him]
"Whoever goes to soothsayer and consult him concerning about anything his salaah for forty nights will not be accepted." [Muslim]
