The best for females
All the prayers are best at home for everyone; male and female except the obligatory prayers for the males, which should performed in the masjid. As for females, the best of their prayers are the ones performed at home; all of them without exceptions. Umm Humayd As-saaidiyyah (RA) came to the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessing be upon him) and said: "Oh Messenger of Allaah! Surely I love to perform the salaah behind you." The messenger of Allaah (peace and blessing be upon him) replied : I know, however your salaah in your room is better for you than your salaah in the mosque of your people and is better than your salaah in the larger mosque of congregation." (Ahmad)
But it is permissible.
Having known what is best for you as a female, you should also know that are without blame to go to the mosque as long as you seek the permission of your husband (or father). Indeed, the permission should be given as long as you are well dressed, meaning no part of your body as a female which is unlawful for others to see should be exposed and you are not wearing enticing anklets or any form of garment that suggests immorality.
Abdullaah bin Umar (RA) related that the messenger of Allaah (peace and blessing be upon him) said: "When a woman asks one of you for permission to go to the Masjid, then do not prevent her from going." ( Bukhari)
No perfumes for you: The woman attending the mosque should not wear perfume especially at the night prayers. Zaynab (RA) the wife of Abdullaah bin Masud (RA) said: "The Messenger of Aliaah (peace and blessing be upon him) said to us ( men): "When anyone of you (females) goes to the masjid, then do not touch any perfume."(Muslim) Abu Hurayra (RA) also added that the prophet (peace and blessing be upon him) said: "Whenever a woman has used Bakhoor (a kind of that is absorbed through pleasant smelling smoke), then let her not attend with us the last`Eesha" (Muslim)
It should be noted that other than due to the reason of coming to the masjid and the attendant evil of free- mixing, the women are allowed to perfume themselves while praying alone inside their house. And Allaah knows best.
